Cultivating Wellbeing and Resilience Using Self-Havening

What an energising and inspirational two-hour workshop with Tony and Julie from www.learn-havening.co.uk. I wholeheartedly recommend their training if you are searching for a greater sense of resilience and wellbeing. And who doesn't need that, in these troubled times?

They guided us through using self-Havening - rhythmic, comforting stroking of your arms, hands and face to maintain a calm receptive mind state - while exploring our own internal resources for wellbeing and resilience... The potential to discover a Real Self based on who we already are, when at our very, very best. Gifts that are always present for us, but can't emerge when our fear means we 'play small' and hide.

The process Tony and Julie took us through had specific phases, and each one was a valuable resilience-building activity in its own right. So we left armed with a toolbox as well as an overall process.

The workshop was fully interactive. After only three 6-minute breakout sessions, there was such a supportive atmosphere that people were asking for ways to stay in touch, after the event. I still can't believe how much we managed to fit into 2 hours without feeling rushed or bombarded with information.
